Risk Assessments (Plant Hazards)

Plant Hazard Risk Assessments are a safety assessment (not mechanical check) of plant required to be undertaken every 12 months (annual) on all items of plant. There are many worksites where a subcontractor would not be able to access unless they have current Risk Assessment documentation in the machine.

How to book a Risk Assessment:
Contact Gascoigne Training & Assessment for a free (no obligation) quotation or book a date and time with one of our administration staff for an assessor to come on to your site and complete the risk assessment.

Time to allow for assessment is approximately 1 hour, however, expect the machine to be out of action for approximately half that time as the paperwork normally takes about 30 minutes to complete. Gascoigne Training and Assessment will conduct the risk assessment, arrange for any Decals (safety stickers) as required for the machine/s and leave the completed paperwork with the operator or as previously arranged with client.

For any issues that may arise from the assessment, i.e. items that require repair, there is a 14 day grace period for the plant owner to action. Payment is required on the day of assessment unless prior arrangements have been made with Gascoigne Training and Assessment.

Annual Reminders:
We offer a free service to our clients with a friendly reminder of impending risk assessment renewals to ensure their plant and equipment are kept current at all times.
