Plant Knowledge Workshop

This workshop covers plant knowledge for those with two years experience in the civil construction industry, who do not hold a NOHSC:7019 certificate of competency in the operation of plant as detailed below:

• Excavator (LE)
• Backhoe (LB)
• Front-end Loader (LL) only
• Tip Truck & Trailer (TTT)

This workshop will give an applicant the knowledge and awareness of plant requirements and will be considered sufficient to undertake work as a “No Go Zone” Spotter, once they have completed the course 21705VIC course in “No Go Zone” Spotter.

On registration applicants will be sent a plant knowledge study guide. Students will be required to study prior to attendance of the course. The guide has been approved Energy Safe Victoria and contains approximately 100 questions and answers on plant and equipment.

Course Outline:
On successful completion of the plant knowledge workshop, participants will be issued a certificate of attendance for excavator, backhoe and front-end loader. This will make participants eligible to attend the “No Go Zone” Spotters course.
